Learning and growing have always been central to Ivy Tutor’s ethos, and we’re constantly seeking new ways to elevate our game. That’s why we’re proud to announce new tools and services to enhance what is already a fun (and effective!) test prep process.
- We’re partnering with MindPrint: MindPrint is a cognitive assessment tool that helps tutors understand their students as test-takers. Ivy Tutors have always aimed to identify students’ strengths and develop personalized strategies. Now, we’re taking it to the next level by using a scientifically validated assessment.
- Hello Pencil Spaces (and Goodbye Zoom): While Zoom has long been the standard for video conferencing, it’s not ideal for instruction. We have now adopted a new solution that eliminates the nuisances and workarounds that were once part of the virtual tutoring process
- We’re Using MathChops: MathChops is a fun math learning platform that will augment our instruction. It offers test-specific practice questions corresponding to students’ current testing level. Students will love cruising through levels that match their actual test scores.
- We’re Keeping You On Track: Ivy Tutor is creating a robust system to ensure parents, students, and tutors are all on the same page. Parents will receive regular progress and performance updates to ensure everything is going according to plan.
- We’re Joining the National Test Prep Association (NTPA): Ivy Tutor has joined the NTPA, allowing us to stay updated on the latest developments in the college entrance exam space. We will also be the first to learn about the latest innovations in test prep.
These improvements build on some of the great things we already do:
- Free and Unlimited Practice Tests: Students can hone their new skills and abilities each week, and parents can observe their process.
- Scientifically Informed Instruction: Ivy Tutor does what works. We’re never doing “busy work” or wasting time. Our methods are so effective because they are informed and validated by scientific research.
- Dynamic and Inspiring Instruction: We instill awe and wonder in our students regardless of the subject matter.
