It applies to parents and guardians, students, and website visitors.
Our Standard Legal Terms and your Individual Service Agreement also address confidentiality and communications. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

- Advising information, such as college lists, activities, honors, essays and drafts, application materials, and family preferences and financial considerations relevant to college planning.
- Learning and health information, such as testing accommodations, learning differences, and health information (for example, severe allergies) needed for safe participation, and evaluations, diagnoses, or recommendations from psychologists or other clinicians that you provide or authorize them to share with us.
- Payment information, which you enter with our payment processors. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.

We may receive information from the learning and assessment platforms we use, from schools or testing organizations (usually through you), from payment processors confirming transactions, from people who refer you to us, and from clinicians when you authorize them to share information with us.
d. Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring links, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

3. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Some information we receive is sensitive, including learning, health, and accommodation information, assessment results, evaluations from clinicians, family financial information shared for college planning, and personal topics students write about in essays. We use this information only to provide the Services, arrange accommodations, and protect student safety. We do not use it for advertising.
4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
- With the Client and Student, as described in Section 4 of our Standard Legal Terms.

- With clinicians and other professionals, such as a psychologist working with a student, only with the written consent of the Client, or of the Student if the Student is 18 or older.
- For legal and safety reasons, including to comply with law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect a student or others from serious harm, or as described in Section 4(d) of our Standard Legal Terms.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- The fact of our relationship. We do not treat the fact that we work with a student or family as confidential, and we may disclose it, unless the Client, or a Student who is 18 or older, asks us in writing to keep it confidential. This does not extend to any other information about the student.
- With your consent, such as when you approve the use of a testimonial or result.
5. ARTIFICIAL-INTELLIGENCE TOOLS
We use AI tools to help with tasks such as drafting communications, organizing notes, preparing instructional materials, and reviewing work. We limit the personal information we enter into these tools to what the task requires, and these providers process that information under their own terms. We do not enter evaluations or other information received from a student’s clinician into AI tools without the written approval of the Client, or of the Student if the Student is 18 or older. Our staff remain responsible for all advice and feedback. We do not use AI tools to write student application essays or other work that a student will submit as the student’s own.
6. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and related analytics tools, to understand how visitors use the site and to keep it working properly.
We may also use advertising tools, such as those offered by Google or Meta, to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our website. These tools may use cookies or pixels to collect information about your activity on our website and other sites.
You can limit cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org. Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
7. TEXT MESSAGES
We send text messages only for service purposes, such as scheduling, reminders, and updates. We do not send marketing text messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Many of our students are minors. Our website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent. Information about younger students is provided by their parents or guardians. When a learning or assessment platform requires a student account, we create or use that account with the Client’s authorization, and the platform’s own privacy policy also applies. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information without consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, including any period in which package hours remain available, and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it. Information in backups is deleted on a regular cycle. We keep session recordings only as long as needed for quality review and training.
10. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and reputable service providers, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
11. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you or your child by emailing [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within a reasonable time. We may keep certain information when the law requires it or when it is needed for records of Services already provided. A Student who is 18 or older may make requests about the Student’s own information.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the link in the email or contacting us. We will continue to send service-related messages while you are a client.
Residents of some states may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor those rights where they apply to us.
