She graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, earning a B.S. with distinction in research and has published academic work. Additionally, Zoe is a psychotherapist in training. As a proponent of research-based practices, she leverages her counseling and teaching expertise to meet student needs through individually tailored approaches.

Math Tutor
Alex’s life’s focus is teaching math and has taught high school students of all levels for the past 21 years, including AP Calculus and AP Statistics. Alex graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics. He taught math at the renowned LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and was Chair of the Mathematics Department at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School. Today, Alex teaches at Nyack High School. When not teaching math, Alex runs his county’s chess club.

Elias holds a BA in entomology from Cornell University and is an adjunct professor in the writing department at Montclair State University. He earned an MFA in poetry from Columbia University, where he also served as the Poetry Editor for the Columbia Journal. His poetry, writing, and art have been featured in various journals and literary magazines. Elias is multitalented: in addition to his writing skills, Elias studied biology and is a skilled mathematician.

An experienced academic counselor, she specializes in helping students develop personalized academic and extracurricular plans, as well as crafting compelling application essays. Fiona brings a broad, global outlook to her advising role and is passionate about helping students navigate their academic journeys and achieve their college aspirations.

Anna is a seasoned advisor with over eight years of experience guiding students through the complex college application process. With her extensive background, she helps students realize their academic and career ambitions. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University, followed by a second Master of Environmental Management from Yale. Anna is also a published memoir author and a Jeopardy! enthusiast.

Brianna Cohen is a lifelong learner and dedicated educator. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, double majoring in Art History and Journalism & Media Studies. Brianna is one of the fortunate few who have turned their passion for acting into a thriving career. While she continues to act, she is also returning to her love of education as the Director of Ivy Tutor’s K–8 program, where she leads outreach, community engagement, and program development.
