Alex’s life’s focus is teaching math and has taught high school students of all levels for the past 21 years, including AP Calculus and AP Statistics. Alex graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics. He taught math at the renowned LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and was Chair of the Mathematics Department at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School. Today, Alex teaches at Nyack High School. When not teaching math, Alex runs his county’s chess club.
